hi Sue, welcome to hell lol. i'm not making fun of RA as sufferer also but there is never a dull moment. i don't know if i'm coming or going half the time. i can hardly walk one day and then fine the next. suffered it for years without realising (or admitting) that is what it was and it hit me with a vengence last septmeber. been on meds since march this year and up and down still. this forum is great even if you just come on and read what others say, that can cheer u up cause you realise you are not alone. i didnt realise how many thousands suffer so you are never alone. take each day as it comes, do only what you feel like doing, rest when you feel you need to and once you get a grip of your own situation you will live again honest. not in the same way but you will, just don't let it beat you or you will feel worse darling, keep fighting. xxx

Hi Sue,
With regards to DLA yes if I were you I would most certainly claim, make sure you get someone from welfare rights, CAB or similar to help you fill out your forms, they have the experience to fill them out correctly:)
Take care xx

Hi Sue, I do not know for certain if I definately have RA, but my rheumy strongly suspects it. I just wanted to send you a hug as when I was told I may have it, I felt like my world fell apart, it is scary and unknown, but with us all here, we will all listen to you and be here. Big hug for you sweets. Take care xx

Hi Sue,
You are another of many horror stories I have been reading - I just can't believe so many people are suffering - and worse - expected to endure it. I have read a recent report by a top rheumatoligist going into detail about all medications available and upcoming. The best expectation by pharmaceutical companies is an increase in quality of life, not a cure. This is because they are not addressing the root cause of RA. Also of cause, having a cure would eliminate their sales of non cures. Don't get me wrong, I respect the value of medications for specific purposes, but doctors are only trained to medicate and operate, not to prevent illness.

I had RA briefly, because I was fortunate to be already a practising pain relief therapist, and also doing ongoing research and testing on my clients. But it was an excruciating pain, so do empathise. As a result I have found an effective natural remedy that does work. I am not selling anything, but will offer my findings in next post for you or anyone that is willing to try. I can personally guarantee relief, because it addresses root causes of RA that at present is not possible by medications because they are too limited in action.
Tom.

If you had RA briefly, Tom, I expect you had just that; a brief episode of RA which went into remission. It does happen you know.
