Subject: Re: APPEALs
Hi Kirst, Can I ask you if you have actually talked to the decision makers at the ESA? I did when I had been informed that I had only scored 6 points on mine, I went through the report with her on the phone and put her right on the points that the supposed medical assessor had ignored or not reported corrctly, I made it clear that I had taken a witness in with me to the assessment, she advised me to put an appeal in staright away which I did. 2 weeks later they overturned the report and the same woman phoned me back to inform me. I am having to appeal my DLA at the moment but one point you have brought up about them linking the DLA to the ESA medical report has got me confused, because if that is correct surely that 1 Government department has overturned that report should make a difference to another looking at the same health issue?????? If you haven't phoned them please do because the can reconsider their decisions before it go to Tribunal, saving you a lot of stress and the country a lot of government resources. good luck and keep us updated xx
