I don't know about fibromyalgia, but carpal tunnel is absolutely nothing to be concerned about. The op is simple and effective.

i have both fibro and carpal tunnel on top of RA. My rummy came to the conclusion of fibro when all my bloods were very much under controll and in his opinion i shouldnt have been in as much pain so he asked me questions about my fatuge and pain then did the tender point test and i had 15/18. Doesnt matter what drugs i take i constantly hurt from head to toe. usually the main way i can tell when its fibro causin most pain is when i do too much one day and i can guarantee that the next 2-3 days im so exhausted and sore i cannot get out of bed. but then again it could also all be the RA, as the 2 things are very similar symptom wise. Over the past year ive been trying to find a ballance between activity and rest but its very difficult because on good days i want to do as much as possible as ive got a young family. google fibromyalgia and you should come across the UKFibromylagia site, its full of info and advice.
As for the carpal tunnel, i get weakness, pins and needles and numbness, had a nerve conduction yesterday to see if i can have the operation.
hope this has been helpful x
