Subject: feeling awful

I am getting really frusterated with this rubbish now. I managed to have a good day on the 1st and for a couple of days after, where i managed to go out and about with my hubby on our mini honeymoon.
But now im back to feeling awful. My hands are up like saussages, elbows and shoulders are cracking and cluncking and oh so painful. I just dont seem to get any let up. i feel like its become a constant battle. The other day my son got a fright at a random toy going off in his room and i went to go run up the stairs and found i simply couldnt...my partner had to run up instead. (fingers crossed theres never a fire or id just have to throw myself down them as getting down is hard work too!
Ive been diagnosed with fibromyalgia as well as RA but i havnt a clue which is causing the worse symptoms. Pain killers arnt doing as much as the could be and im taking paracetamol, tramadol, and up to 3 nafopam all together. Im narked off at the doc because they wont even let me try morphine but id like to know if it would work for me in the times nothing else seems to, even if it was just one day out of the week where i had some break from the pain, sluggishness and being able to feel ever saussage like part of me lol.
i gave up and had a cry this morning, and got a lovely cuddle from my partner, so feel slightly happier in myself. Im frusterated as hell that i feel 3x my age.
thankyou for allowing me a good moan x

Give your GP another go or phone your rhumy team.I have OA and Muscular skeletal disorder and i cant tell them apart not even sure what the latter one is or does apart from send me to my bed whole body throbbing. I am suffering real bad this week-end. Hopefully it will ease at some stage. I know from reading on here RA is a whole different ball game. I am sending you best wishes and love. Take care X

aw kirst im sorry to hear your feeling this way i know exactly how you feel i have pa and possible fibromyalgia i am in constant agony it is so bad i to take parecetomol and tramadol and have tried nefopam and like you they dont take my pain away we are in a constant daily battle with this terrible disease i find this site really helpful i hope you do to. My husband and 3 kids are very understanding but i dont think they realise what it is really like noone can unless they have it themself, i get embarrsesed going out with my sticks (im only 34) so find that i stay home alot more which does not help matters either. as Marlene said give the gp another try it may be helpful you never know chin up x
