Subject: Just started metho today, and what a great support group you have.
Hello, I have RA and am 33, i have just started methotrexate, i took my first dose last night. I have been ok today, which i am happy about as sulfasalazine made me really sick, and i had to take days off work with that as well as the RA. Not good! It sounds like you have a wonderful support group going on. I live in mid cornwall so you are a little far away, but it sounds great. This stupid disease can make you feel so lonley. It's great to read your chats! Any one from mid cornwall around and want set up a group? Nic :)

Hi Nic I've got RA too. Sadly I don't live in Cornwall I live in the midlands. I've been taking Sulfasalazine for 4 years now and it has been some help (the orange wee is a bit alarming though). I tried Methotrexate but it made me really sick so I had to come off again. I'd like to go to a support group to meet other people living with RA as well but I don't know of any groups round where I live. Best of luck with the Methotrexate and have a happy Christmas!!
