Re-apply i was awarded low rate care componant. I have now asked them to look at my claim again. Had to do all forms over but, after the support from the forum, i just went for it. it is like a lottery and it makes you just want to leave it, but why should we? I am waiting for my outcome but if its not satisfactory this time i will appeal. I like so many others i.e. yourself get told no and we just accept it. Well i am not settling for anything less than i deserve. The touble is i have never claimed anything from the goverment so i did find it all a bit overwhelming.Good Luck go for it!!!!!!

Absolutely go for it Belle. Let's be honest - the form is a pain in the wotsit .. but it's worth it in the end. Make sure you get some help from the CAB or an experienced person for filling in the form. Good luck.
