Subject: pop quiz

Okay peeps ... what's the most weird or wonderful thing you have ever done to try and get rid of pain or distract yourself from it? I'll go first. I had infection in my femur and wanted to put my head through a WALL. So I got some old fashioned giant headphones, plugged in some heavy music, put the headphones over my thigh and played my pain some music! Not kidding. And ... strangely ... it helped. Weird. Your turn!!!

Sudoku on the nintendo ds braintraining, got me through days in bed with agonising leg pains during chemotherapy. And when the PsA in my legs swell up, laying in bed with my feet against the wall just to try and get into a different position 'cos getting comfortable is impossible!

Since being put on tramadol the pain is very mimimal at times however I still get arm aches so I sometimes sit on my hands or lean against my arms where the pain is originating from and as im doing this it distracts me so gets rid of the pain for a while.

Or turning my arms in wierd ways sometimes releives it for a while

Normally I would drink but not with tramadol

Yes it sounds wierd and seems silly to press on the hurty bits but it does work for me
