Subject: MRI and bone scan
My rheumy is now trying a last ditch attempt to see if the pain I am experiencing is inflammation related or neuropathic. So I have to go for a full body MRI and bone scan. I'm well surprised. I only saw my rheumy last week and my MRI appt has come through for 8 April. WOW - in a world of waiting months for appts, I am pleasantly surprised. Has anyone else had a bone scan?

I've had an Isoptope bone scan so don't know if thats the same Gaynor ? If it is it's no problem at all.

Hi gaynor, had a full bone scan on thursday. I didnt wait long for appointment either 10days wow.You cant see much from laying down and they wouldnt tell me anything, but the results will be with my consultant in 3 working days.So i will give him a call on wednes day. Not too long to wait. Good Luck
