Subject: elbow pain
hey all, bit of advice please...ive had a pain, totally different to all my normal arthritis pain in my left elbow since i was about 7. I was only diagnosed with pa at christmas, so this pain was here long before that. The only way i can describe it is as a shooting pain, which comes on if i lean on my elbow (which i do alot to support myself since my wrists have been so bad with arthritis) or if i have a long sleeved top on and i bend my arm and the material goes to tight over my elbow. I know that sounds strange, even sometimes if i just bend my elbow without a top on, the skin tightening over my elbow brings it on. Its a sharp, burning, shooting pain which goes up my arm and lingers about for ages after. Sometimes i think it feels like theres a sharp bit of bone stabbing into me. Its doing my head in since i use my elbows to lift myself up out of bed etc. Has anyone had anything like this or have any idea what it could be? X
