Subject: Stairlifts

Hi

I have been reading this site with interest. I have recently purchased a stairlift for my wife and I and I have found it a great help.

We had 3 quotes from the leading suppliers in the UK and all sent salesmen determined to get a sale on the day along with a £500 deposit.

None would mention the price until the end of a lengthy sales presentation and all offered a discount for signing up on the day.

Calls were then made to the "manager" in a bid to reduce the price further.

We were put off until we parked next to a van in Tesco's who had its prices printed on the van.

We enquired and after a short telephone conversation, we were given a full up-front quote. An engineer called to check measurements and left a written quote.

We called to confirm the order expecting them to ask for a deposit and they stated that they do not take any payment until the job was finished.

They came the next day, fitting the lift in just under 2 hrs .

We are thrilled that not only we found a company willing to publish it's prices but we also saved £500 with the final cost with a 2 year service contract being £1200.

I'm not sure how larger area they cover however well worth a call.
