Subject: blue badge for hippy

I am a relatively new hippy finding it a right pain to walk, it really wears you down, I find going up and down stairs especially wearing, so concidering makling an application for a blue badge, I get the impression that it can be rather difficult ?is this so.
If so what are the things to bring to the doctors attention.

Not in my experience. You apply to your Council, and they contact your GP/Specialist for confirmation. You need a couple of passport photos and proof of residence eg utility bill. You get the badge quite quickly and I must say they are a blessing.

Hey Ken ... blue badge is relatively easy to get. Just make sure you state all the reasons you need one. Don't forget to say that you need to open your car door full width in order to enter and exit your vehicle. You just can't do that in a standard bay. Good luck. By the way - you should apply for DLA too.

Blue Badge is easy the local councils seem to be more in tune with peoples needs. The DLA seem to make it difficult for most. I found my local council in London was up to speed and was nothing more than helpful. Good Luck.

Good news folks, my doctor had no hesitation in agreeing to sign.
I was mightily pleased as I have been acquiring too much pain with the walks to and from my local car parks.
