Subject: JIA

I am 12 years old and have JIA. Iget injections of Methotrexate and Etanercept every Thursday. Next week i am going to have steroid injections in all my affected joints. Has anyone else had this done? does it help?

By JIA do you mean Juvenile Infantile Arthritis - also known as Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis or Stills Disease? I suffer from Stills which was diagnosed at the age of 3 but remained untreated until the age of 23! Injections will alleviate the pain, as I have found; but its important that you get the right balance of medicines and your blood test results are monitored.
