Subject: arthritis

HELP! i think i have arthritis, i have all the symtoms but my blood tests came back normal! my doctor says i dont have it, i think i do! my symptoms get worse each day, pain in my hands and fingers, knees, ankle, toes, my joints click all the time, what do i do?? do i go back and insist on an MRI??any help is much appreciated.

You could have sero negative arthritis which doesn't show up in blood tests. Ask for a referral to a rheumatologist. You could have osteo arthritis and xrays will show that. Ask for those too.

It depends on what bllod tests you have had i have sero negative arthritis and yes my rhenmatoid factor is negative but mt esr and crp is raised so you need to find out what hes done xx

Don't give up Diane. You know your body better than any medical professional and you are the expert of your own condition. Make them hear you. The big thing is not to feel guilty about actively pursuing a diagnosis. It's their job. Make them understand that you are not someone who is going to be just palmed off - and that this condition is impacting every part of your life. GO FOR IT GIRL --- YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF! Big hug!!
