Subject: Have I got RA?

I have been suffering with my joints for two years and had a combination of treatments from prednisolone and methotrexate plus a couple of others, I think sulfasalazine and lefludomide sp?.
These drugs have kept my ESR and CRP at good levels. However, methotrexate has started to cause a few problems with my liver and at a recent appointment at a new hospital further tests were run and these say I have POSITIVE result of Anti-CCP antibodies and POSTIVE T-SPOT. Does this mean I have RA?

The anti ccp test is quite new and has taken over from the rheumatoid factor test in some places. It depends on the level of the test. A high / medium reading would indicare RA but am not sure anout the other test you need to speak to your rheumy team about it. I suspect because of the methotrexate they think you have ra but they need to tell you definatly x
