Oh dear poor you. I know its awful and most of us have been through this. I felt rotten for years and tried medication after medication all the time being told by the medical team that they would find something to help me. Eventually they did and I have been put on anti tnf therapy. It has completely changed my life.I have forgotten that I have RA and live a normal life. Why not have a chat to your consultant and see what they say? Dont be too down hearted there will be something out there to help you.In the meantime why not ask for a steroid injection they are brilliant and will make you feel better for a few weeks? Good luck!

i hear ya daniel! Chatting to other people who are going through the same thing has really helped me. Ive been in tears all day because i just feel like im getting nowhere. And although others might not get this, but can probably relate in some way, im a dancer...but i cant dance, i can barely walk or stand up and that breaks my heart and hurts more than any of my physical pain! I feel ive lost my purpose in life. Its the bad days that make the good days good though. I think the nature of this disease is that you can feel ontop of the world one day, then like youre falling apart the next...you just have to remember the good ones when youre having a bad'un xx

Hi Daniel. It definitely gets better when you have the right medication. I was diagnosed when my baby was 8 months old and couldnt change her nappy or anything. Felt totally and utterly useless and had days of crying with the pain. Try and stay postive as you'll definitely feel much better when its controlled with the medication. I felt like screaming when people told me that but eventually after about 8 months from being diagnosed it started to get under control with medication and painkillers.
