hi, i am off work at the moment with knee probs due to ra, have had a bad flare up after being told to reduce my mtx by 2.5mg.my knees are really painful and im finding it hard to even get to the toilet. at 45 years old with a family to look after and a dog and work am feeling really down in the dumps, doctor suggested depression but its not its just frustration at not being able to do a simple thing like walking which is what everyone else just takes for granted

i know its horible. i am 30 and have a 19 month old son so i know how you feel. have you asked your doctor to look at your knees as i didn't suspect any problems with my knees, just thought ra and now more problems that need sorting. if you feel behind your knee and check if you have a hard lump that gives you an idea for baker cysts. i'm not saying you have anything like this just to check i think.
