kylee I would go to your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau and ask them to help you with this they are dealing with DLA claims all the time. Good Luck

You need to complete the form as if its your worse day and how arthritis affects you. Just stress that this disability changes but this is how you are on a "bad day". You should get the benefits you are entitled to. I can understand your worry, I had my benefits stopped and motability car removed from me in 1998. Following an appeal which took 6 months, they reinstated my benefits for both indefinately. I agree with above - go to citizens advice bureau for help. Good luch

I agree with KJ. I heard somewhere, but don't know if it is true, that you can ask for just one element of DLA to be reassessed. Don't take my word for it but CAB best advised to help you.

to get middle rate on the care side you need to demonstrate you are having great difficultly on carring out day to day tasks ie; preparing and cooking yourself a meal, look it up on the 1995 disability discrimination act and also on the DWP/DLA info notes then yes l agree with the others go to CAB to help fill in the forms, good luck.
