Subject: Anyone taken Arava - opinions gratefully recieved.

Hi There

I have been on methotrexate for approx 5 years and it is getting harder and harder to tolerate. I missed a dose over Xmas and ended up in hospital for the New Year with the most severe flare I have ever had (pain was off the scale), Anyway the hospital have now said they will change my medication to Arava and I want to know what to expect and is this medication as toxic as methotrexate.

Thanks Marion

Thanks for all your comments. Louise you are very lucky that your rhummy explains everthing, mine explains nothing even when you ask. I am starting arava tomorrow and hope I can tolerate it, will let you know how it goes.
