Hi Vicky I feel exactly the same. I slump in the afternoon and feel awful in the evenings. I have the same problem with my eyes and have recently got glasses. I have drops for them also maybe that is what you need? I got them from my GP.I always panic that its iritis. But apparently its just dry eyes. I hope things improve.

Hello Vicki

Am I right in thinking that you have got RA? If you have then tiredness/fatigue is something that many people with RA have to put up with. You have to, what I am always being told 'Pace Yourself', and if you do feel energetic not to go mad and do too much because you will pay for it the next day. If you read the spoon theory http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/articles/written-by-christine/the-spoon-theory-written-by-christine-miserandino/ it explains it a bit better.

About your eyes.......I'm afraid that dry eyes are again part and parcel of RA. I have dry eyes and just before I started with my RA symptoms I made an appointment to have mine tested because they ached so much in the evening, nothing found to be wrong with them, but my consultant told me it was linked to RA. You can also develop Sjogern's Syndrome when you have RA http://www.medic8.com/skin-disorders/sjogrens-syndrome.htm it's just another add on illness with RA. Ask your consultant about it because you can be prescribed some eye drops for it.

Hope all this helps.

Paula
