Come to think of it, I'm feeling a bit more achy than usual and I shouldnt be because I havent reduced any of my medication! Even my hip started to ache slightly and I've never had any problems with my hips!

Hi Amy, I am with you, I live near the lake district and am really struggling. I must admit though, this year I am finding it slightly easier. I suffer from Raynauds and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was recently advised by a friend to use a Circulation Booster. I must admit I was a bit reluctant but went over to her house and had a go. It is an odd sensation at first (feels like little pins and needles) but you grow to quite like it. I bought my own one and now use it for about half an hour a day and it really helps. I bought it with some gloves that go with it and the coldness has really improved in my hands. I would really recommend investing in one. The company is called High Tech Health I think. Since I bought one I have seen their adverts on the TV everywhere. You get your money back if you dont like it. Because I suffer from Arthritis and Raynauds they gave me my VAT back as well, which really helps. Good Luck

Kylee Have you asked about discounts on heatin? It's only just occured to me but, if you have psoriasis, you are entitled to a reduction on your water bills because you are considered to be in need of extra water so maybe the other utility companies have similar schemes. I also seem to remember hearing that if you are on certain types of benefits like income support there are reduced rates, maybe dla counts? Has anyone looked into this?
