Subject: Psoriatic Arthritis + Elbow replacement

I was diagnoased with Psoriatic Arthritis after a bout of food poisining. I am 43 years old, and have had it for about 9 years. I have had my right hip replaced, I had ruptured tendons in my right hand. And my left elbow cannot straighten or bend back fully. I have been postponing an elbow replacement but the pain is now extreme.

Has anybody got any information or experience on elbow replacements? I have heard they do not last long, and the possibilites of a revision is not good?

I'm so sorry about your pain.
may I advice you to avoid drinking cold such ice and also cold fruit/juice.
it's better for you to make light exercise like stretching or warming up. hopefully getting better.
