Thanks fr that. I dont have pain in my hips but that doesnt mean I dont have a problem so looks like another bit of me going to the dogs. Just had MRI on shoulder. Trying not to go down the anti TNF route. Just keep hoping for a miracleŚ

my dr told me hip pain is felt in the groin and top of the thighs, best to get it checked out tho,can you give your consultant a call or see your gp, burstis (not sure ive spelt that right) is also common in the hips, all we can all do is hope for a miracle isnt it :)

I've had Bursitis and it was on the outside of my thigh I had a Steroid injection but it didn't really help. I've started to have like really sharp intense stabbing pain in my left groin will have to let my Rhuemie know on my next visit as this is something new to me.

bursitis of the hip is usually on the outside of the hip but there are quite a few tendons and ligaments in the hip area and even tho apparently unusal it can affect any of them, the pain i get is a very sharp stabbing pain too and worse when im moving, always best to get these things checked out tho isnt it, kayjay hope yours is better now?

Thanks Athena the pains come on very sudden so I can be out shopping etc and shout ' ouch ' which is quite embaressing ;0) It's still randomly happening - see the Rhuemie JNR next week so I don't suppose anything will be sorted until the Consultants appt in Feb. Supposed to have seen him last month but they changed it !! I won't let the Jnr one examine me though - last time they caused me to have Sciatica !!

hi kayjay

yeah mine happens like that to, one minute its not hurting the next it just gets you,it can last for an hour or days,it used to be mainly my left side but its more in the right now, you need to get seen before feb, thats ages away but see your point about not wanting the rhuemy JNR to examine you
