Subject: BURSITIS

hi i have ra and have been suffering with sever pain in shoulder which seems to be an inflammed bursitis i was all so up all night last night have a bath every 1hour as i had sever pain running from my bum down my leg in to my knee i thought it was sciatica how ever just looked on internet and found again its a sign of the hip bursitis was just woundering if any body else has these problems as i often seem to get these flares and they tend to switch to another location once the first joint area has healed last night it was my like i had severe sciatica which started last week now that pain has completely gone and now its in my shoulder and im unable to move the joint due to the pain

kylee oh good grief sciatica is very painful !! I had it earlier this year following the jnr Rheumie yanking my leg up insisting I could lift it higher than I actually can !! Bloody OUCH !!

I've had Bursitis in my hip and had a Steroid injection . Perhaps if you rang your Rhuemie or their secretary they might be able to put you in for one asap ?. I get really bad shoulder pain when I've been watching TV with my arms folded over my head [ I know I shouldn't do it but it feels comfy - until I put my arms down again !!] . Anyway with the pain you are having and especially with it keeping you awake I would defo get on the phone. Good Luck :)
