Subject: BIG improvement with my rheumatoid arthritis ( Self Help )
I am 40 and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis about 11 years ago causing a lot of pain particularly to my knees . I had a bad reaction to the RA drugs so have only been receiving pain relief .
After doing some research on alternative treatments I began taking a course of vitamins about 5+ months ago :
* Glucosamine sulphate ( 1000mg a day for the first 3 months and then 500mg a day ) If you havent heard of Glucosamine sulphate yet just goole it .
* Cod liver oil ( 800mg a day )
* Calcium ( 400mg a day )
* Vitamin C ( 500mg a day )
* I also included light step exercises most days .
I didn't know what improvements to expect and was hoping at best it may slow down the deterioration of my joints . HOWEVER I'm blown away by the improvements especially to my knees , for the first time in many years I can now sleep face down with my knees on the mattress without that uncomfortable / annoying throbbing and no longer need pain relief .
I found all the information on the web relating to the various vitamins im taking that resulted in the improvments of my RA so its easy to check for yourself .
I guess the results will differ from person to person and how advanced your RA is , all I can say si its worth giving it a go for 4-5 months and see if your results are as good as mine ...... what have you got to lose ;)
