Subject: Anyone have stabbing pain in their errr groin ????
I've had these stabbing pains in the groin/inner thigh on and off for ages now. Usually they are just stab pains when they make me shout ouch but then go away as quick as they came. But now I'm having more of them but thank god not as stabbing just dull aching. Anyone else get these please ?

Hi Kayjay, long time no chat x Yes I know that pain very very well, I have that, altho ive had two ops on right hip, the Hip surgeon reckoned the pain was coming from my back, I thought Yea whatever, and guess what, It was, had yet another MRI on spine, and it revealed that yet another disc is dissapearing fast, spine surgeon reckons hip pain is due to back pain also, called refered pain....... so all in all, cld be ya hips, as that is a common symptom of Hip trouble....wld suggest ya go see ya rhummy,if this has been happening for a few weeks, id get seen......I also get pain on the outside of my thighs, mainly at night, I get inflamed Bursas, well had right one removed, yet the pain in still in both...let us know how ya get on xx

Hey Jill good to hear from you ;0) Yes I've suffered with hip and low back pain for years been to a Chiropractor who seemed to sort it out until last few years when they have got worse but never had the pain in the groin before. I've had pain on the outside of the hip [ Bursitis I think ] and the Rheumy gave me s Steroid injection for it but of no help. Will see what the Rheumy says next month. xx
