Hi

As above, Im confused! lol

Am I just having a few good days after months of being in pain or aching everyday, I dont know!

Am meant to be starting my mtx at the weekend & really feel like maybe Im ok now.....either a massive coincidence that I feel great now but Im touching wood as I speak as I really sont want to feel unwell again!

Do any of you have really good days where you think its gone away??

Was just reading your post and I can identify with you. I have been trying for 2.5 years to get a diagnosis and am seeing the consultant on Thursday for it. Last time I saw him he gave me info on MTX as he thinks this is where I should go, BUT for the last few weeks I feel a bit better, not pain free by any means but it set me thinking re MTX!!!

arthritis is known to fluctuate and it varies from person to person. I don't often have good days but it is great when I do and have learnt to enjoy them!

Well now Im questioning if the antibiotics I am on, have cleared up an infection that I may have had, which may have caused my inflammation?

I have put off starting my mtx as I want to see how I go, dont want to take them anyway as didnt want to give up my boozy fun at the weekends lol

Im really hoping that my good days carry on as apart from my trigger fingers in the morning, Im syptom free (she says touching wood)

Time will tell as I had a steroid jab on 8th October so I will see over the next couple of weeks if my aches & pains come back as the jab wears off.

Fingers & toes crossed!
