Subject: Appointment With Occupational Therapist

Have just got back from seeing the OT and she was very helpful. She's given me a wrist splint and is ordering for me a seat that fits in the bath so I can sit down and have a shower and a high toilet seat that just clips onto my toilet. Also a " leg lifter " [ I did have to laugh when she called it this ] to ...... well ...... be able to lift my legs up when I have the sit down shower and when I get in/out of bed. She also said to get a PC mouse that is more like a gear stick type . I would highly recommend this service to anyone struggling with their daily life. The Rheumatology Nurse referred me to them.
