Subject: elbow replacement

hi

I had an elbow replacement back in August due to Rheumatiod Arthritis. I then banged it and have ruptured the tendon and fractured my forearm, my surgeon is recommending that that the lower arm of the replacement is replaced with a longer one. Have to admit I'm not feeling sure about this solution. Any thoughts welcome
