Subject: Finger swelling ?
I've got a swelling/lump on my finger above the middle joint - does anyone else have this ? They usually swell up on the hand knuckle and middle knuckle. It's just come up today.

EEEEKK sounds orrible.....cld be a innocent nodule? happens if i knock my hand, the veins Instantly pop up...is it sore to press?? have ya knocked ya hand recently?

I have swelling in my knuckles in two fingers on both hands was told its my P.A told to do knitting to exercise them,its frustrating when you go to do something and you can't hope they go down soon.

I have psoriatic arthritis and thats how my fingers go eventualy they swell up like cumbeland sausages.

Yes Lynn I hate sausage finger time !! I used to do a lot of knitting and crochering [ even forgot how to spell it now ] but it started to hurt my neck with looking down all the time.

Hi KJ...nodule is like fatty type tissue, like a cyst, nowt sinister like, has it gone down yet? if a person gets them, and wont go away, the docs/gp can use a needle to take any fluid out that may be there....hey dont take my word for it lolol...but if dont go down nxt week, go see gp....nowt sinister xx

think at somepoint u have knocked ya finger, not noticed it, honest, if i knowc my hand, top part, if i hit a vein, it pops up into a nodule type swelling, takes a few days to go down, but very saw, its like a vein has been knocked.....x
