hi had flare up week before last going now right hand was swollen but am finding still waking with claw hand stiff and aching any one else get this have oa and inflimation arther for any one who does not know me val

Hi val I know wot you mean have had flare up for the last eight days, fingers and hands swollen hot and so achy.. feet are so sore cant walk very far its blumin awful trying to get to the loo and back, stairs feel like a mountain I have Pa and oa tcxx lynn

I just tried naproxen and i felt awful. Stiffened and swelled over night. was rubbish. Hows your new one doin?

Hi valh. I'm on Plaquenil as well, since beginning March. Can't say it's helping the aching and stiffness all over but [!! sausage !!fingers crossed ] last flare about a week ago.

well would say over all it helping been on it since dec was taking both (checked with rhummy that what he wanted) so have been much better not so exhausted and stiff.
have never said how bad it was as there r so many going through much worse. but would get up in a morning and if showered would have to lay down and sleep before going to work at one if went into town had to rest before work had to plan every thing as it all took so much energy not so much the pain as could just about cope with that day to day but the stiffness and effort to move joints was so bad would be in tears some days with the effort of trying to live some where near normal life. then feet started to swell and get brighton beach (like walking on pebbles) so realised was not going away with diet and exercise so had to start the meds still have pinapple and brocklie (high anti inflam) but have pain meds for when need them as it easyer to carry on if not in pain . it does take time for them to kick in but did feel different quite quickly blood felt full of energy not lifeless can not discribe it felt like it full of energy bubbles now you think i am mad well might be lol. but can put feet on floor straight away these days the blocks of wood on end of legs move even first thing not great but so much better. i hope you find the same releef good luck

yes we doing ok so far. been a long year in some ways but has gone so fast in others lol.bit stiff at min. do not know if it because doing bit more or wether it because stopped naproxen back at doc in couple of weeks so will see how doing by then. jill you have so much more to cope with than me girl we all need to let off steam from time to time as the frustration builds and we all have bad days

hi went back 18th may lol might be away if we both in work lol oh shop being taken over so do not know what hours he will get. my place is so slow it a worry well what ever will be will be but who will want to take me on with arther lol
