Subject: product preference

I have been on here a few times now and I am very much appreciative for all of the help I have received. as I said in my last post I am designing exercise equipment. since then I have opted with either the use of vibration or electrical stimulation.

I know and understand that the past generic products are quite boring and non-stimulating to use. taking this into account could you please advise me as to what you would like to see in a product?

truthfully i cannot think of anything that is not already out there. Theres those vibration machines and then theres the tens machines, you've got the powerball and many other things.

Cost plays a big part in excerise equipment as many people are not working and living on benefits (if they are lucky). So something relative cheap which works will be a good starting point.

I'll have a think and let you know if i can think of something.

Paul

Futuristic, modern or contemporary?

I love all things futuristic but if a product worked i wouldn't give a hoot if it was old fashioned or modern or space aged.

What about something like a new style of resistance band, cheap, ideal for strengthening exercises and can be used anywhere.

Saying that i have just signed up for a kitesurfing course... he he he

Do i get a commission on anything that i think of...LOL

i have used resistance bands before and still do.

they are quite good but really need a built in handle to hold on too, its very hard when your hands are knackered from arthritis to get a grip.

I was thinking of something that could go around a desk in a loop, so the top part could be for the arms (bicep curles and shoulder pulls) and under the desk the bottom part attaches to the ankle (quad lifts) so you can do strenght training even at work.

I would do this and will take a band to work (i'm at work now worse luck) to see how it goes.

Paul
