Hi Sandra, then u have come to the right place....it must be so hard on u that hubby suffres with that, then u feel u cant tell him, rollercoaster.....ok remind me, cos ,my brain forgets easily lol, do u usually have bad back pain?...or do u usually get pain everywhere else, is it new? or ongoing?...at end of the day, if it goes on for say a week, U must go see GP, dont suffer it longer than u need, to, becos if he does want to send u for say referal, or xray, it all takes time, and the quicker u sort it out the better....Please try stay positive, mobility is best, but after a while we just need to rest the bacxk, so listen to ya body ok....I need fusion, already had spine op in 2003, bolts and all, si I kinda know a little about the back, and also know so much more about the Pain....often diazapam relaxes the back, it may be muscle spasam or sciatic nerve pain.....anyway will wait to hear from u b4 I nag u lololol xx

Hi Sandra, that sounds pretty miserable. Dealing with pain is hard enough without dealing with someone with depression as well. I was quite depressed about 2 years ago and have also had an alcoholic depressive ex (although it was a thin line between depression and being an arsehole) so can understand how hard it must be. If you ever feel isolated make sure you come on here and talk coz keeping it to yourself instead of 'worrying' him is not gonna help anyone : ) Hope youre feeling a bit better today
xx

hi Sandra
Sorry you are feeling so bad. It doesn't help if you don't feel supported. I thought you could get RA anywhere. I was told I hadn't got it because had probs with my shoulder and knee and is usually the small joints. But when I got out of hospital and googled I could see you can get it anywhere. There are usual places to get things and unusual - but that doesn't mean you haven't got it! My rheummy said he wasn't sure I had an auto immune illness as some bloods didn't show it but he still gave me a diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis and my GP agrees. GP says it is very difficult to be sure about these things most of the time. All I know is I have a lot of pain and sounds like you do too. At some point it becomes academic whether this or that has caused it, you just want treatment to stop it! If you don't like your consultant, is there any way you could ask for a referral to another one? Worth a try.

Hi Sandra, sally correct.....u need that looked into...dont suffer! and u can scream in here if u want to.....we all do...makes ua feel better..... that will get U depresses sandra and U dont need that on top of other stuff......R.A. goes everywhere, just like other arthritis...ask your GP for an MRI. im sure they can refer u for one! let us know what happens ok....or mb your GP(he will examone u) and then refer u directly to an orthopeadic surgeon...much beter than a blidddy rhummy!!! xxx
