It'll be precautionary I would imagine. I've had this quite a few times with methotrexate, my WBC has always gone back up again and then I've restarted it.

When I first started leflunomide late last year my WBC went low and I was told not to increase my dose (from 5 mg per day to 10 mg per day), they went back up within a fortnight though and I'm now on the higher dose.

Hi Kylee, if you have pain in your chest when breathing you should go to the doctor straight away. Don't wait until the blood results.

how low was it?mine last week was 0.3 and i was told to admit myself to hospital, had a drug called gcsf which is a white cell boosting drug,it then shot up to 12.7,stayed in hospital for 4 days,my white count at present is 2.6 which is still very low,if mine continues to get low again i will need a bone marrow test to rule out other things, hopefully it was just an infection just like your cold, let me know how it goes
