My Mum used to grind her jaw when asleep. She used to do that and old Dad used to snore - it was like an orchestra playing !! I think dentist have jell guards now that you can use - similar to what rugby players use.

Hi Kayjay lol....my fella snores, and this is the truth, b4 I thought to buy ear plugs, I use to go Upstairs(my bedroom is downstairs in one of the reception rooms, big house, couldnt use stairs at one time, anyway) stayed with her a few nights, and we cld still hear my fella Snoring like a pig lol thru the floor...honest it wasnt as Loud as lying beside him, but it felt like the floor was rumbling!! my daughter use to complain at the time that she cld hear my fella snoring, he neve beleived it, lol and when I slept a few times in her bed, it happened and he Still wont beleive it!!! lol.....I use ear plugs every night and they kinda help, but I panick if ive mislaid my ear plugs now, so make sure they r in my box beside my bed, tht is part of my bedtime ritual now....lol sometimes hes worse that other times....ther eis an op tho and he refuses, its laser and the ear nose doc said its bliddy painful, so he wont now go and have it done...... ive got use to it now after 6 years.....Snoring should be Bannned!!!!!LOLOL....btw Kayjay, sorry to sound ignorant and nosy, r u a gal or a guy? makes no differnce lol

Hi Jill I'm a 55 yr old gal. And have been through the usual spouse snore bore. Now sleep by meself on the ground floor so no stairs to the loo !!

A friends husband had the op for snoring and I'm afraid to report that he went through a very bad time after the op due to infection. Also he still snores so I don't think it's always the magic cure it's made out to be.
